• Plastic plates and cutlery
• Optional play kitchen props

How to do it

1. Set the challenge: each group creates a 'dish' from playdough for a panel of judges.
2. Groups plan a menu and decide who makes what.
3. Children present their creations and explain their ideas.
4. Educators judge gently on creativity and teamwork rather than skill.
