Learning intention

You'll need

How to do it

1. Build on children's interest in collecting and mixing natural items.
2. Children gather leaves, seeds and petals around the yard.
3. They combine their finds into pretend dishes in the bowls.
4. Encourage storytelling about what they're 'cooking'.
