Learning intention

This experience supports children to use imagination and to explain rules to others.

You'll need

  • Blank card templates
  • A ruler
  • Textas and pencils
  • An eraser

How to do it

  1. Children design their own deck of playing cards on the templates.
  2. They decide what the cards do and write simple rules.
  3. Test the game in pairs.
  4. Refine the rules and share with the group.
