Learning intention
This experience supports children to show respect for the environment and to follow a recipe while making healthy choices.
You'll need
- Vanilla cupcake mix
- Green and blue food colouring
- Mixing bowls
- Patty pans and a cupcake tray
How to do it
- Children make up the cupcake mix together.
- Split the mix and colour one half green and one half blue.
- Spoon both colours into each patty pan to look like the Earth.
- Bake, then talk about caring for the planet while they cool.
