Learning intention

This experience supports children to show respect for the environment and to follow a recipe while making healthy choices.

You'll need

• Vanilla cupcake mix
• Green and blue food colouring
• Mixing bowls
• Patty pans and a cupcake tray

How to do it

1. Children make up the cupcake mix together.
2. Split the mix and colour one half green and one half blue.
3. Spoon both colours into each patty pan to look like the Earth.
4. Bake, then talk about caring for the planet while they cool.
