Learning intention
This experience supports children to measure and combine ingredients, and to follow spoken and written steps.
You'll need
- Self-raising flour
- Caster sugar
- Desiccated coconut
- Melted butter
- Milk
- Vanilla essence
How to do it
- Children mix the dry ingredients together.
- Add the melted butter, milk and vanilla, and combine into a dough.
- Roll into small balls and flatten onto a tray.
- Bake until lightly golden and let cool.
